Major Abuse Spheres in 2022 Where Do LGBTQ-Phobic Abuses Occur? The following are the trends exhibited when examining the arenas in which LGBTQ maltreatment occurred in 2022: About half of the reports (51%) reflect abuses in the media and social networks. These maltreatments comprise offensive statements towards all or parts of the community and some directed at individuals. Examples and elaboration on this topic are noted in a separate chapter regarding LGBTQ-phobia in the media and networks. About half of the reports (49%) portray mistreatment during interpersonal interactions in various spheres: public and private, public institutions, IDF, educational institutions, and more.
