Despite the improved approach of the healthcare system towards the transgender community in recent years, the data from the LGBTQ-phobia report indicates the long road ahead. 8% of abuses of those on the trans spectrum occurred in the Israeli healthcare system (compared to an average of 4% in the LGBTQ community). The Aguda has not yet received a response from the HMO.
