LGBTQ-Phobia 2022 Report
The 2022 report demonstrates that those on the trans spectrum are more likely to experience LGBTQ maltreatment than cisgender men and cisgender women. In addition, cisgender (homosexual and bisexual) men are more likely to experience LGBTQ maltreatment than cisgender (lesbian and bisexual) women. 1 We will address the distinctive abuse suffered by individuals on the trans spectrum in detail later in the report. Reports of Abuse by Gender Identity: Individuals on the transgender spectrum compared with cisgender men and cisgender women: *Based on data from the Aguda’s Reporting Center (not including maltreatment in the networks and the press/ media)

In addition, based on data from the Israel Institute for Gender and LGBTQ Research, individuals on the trans spectrum constitute approximately 15% of the LGBTQ community. This demonstrates that those on the trans spectrum report abuse in the public sphere at the highest rate of the LGBTQ community - 30% of abusive cases in the public sphere were reported by individuals on the trans spectrum (double in proportion to their percentage in the LGBTQ community). Cisgender (homosexual) males are mistreated more publicly than cisgender females. Maltreatment Comparison by Gender Identity:
