Volunteers and Local Fundraising Events

Thousands of active ICA volunteers are dispersed throughout the country in some 70 branches. ICA’s devoted and energetic volunteers initiate numerous activities year-round to enhance the well-being of cancer patients, survivors and their families, and to promote ICA objectives. These activities include conferences, seminars, lectures, information booths and community health promotion initiatives, support and assistance projects for patients and survivors, resource recruitment and a variety of performances and special events, with proceeds dedicated to supporting the fight against cancer. The volunteers work closely with the municipal authorities, especially the education departments as well as schools and kindergartens. The ICA Branches Department is headed by Shir Buttel-Tzur . Sale and Distribution of Mishlohei Manot (Purim Food Baskets) This year, volunteers from companies and organizations, schools and IDF assisted in packing the baskets.
