To enhance the activity of the Eilat Ashkelon pipeline, the company created a new transit capability; thepumpingof crude oil from the Mediterranean Oil Port of Ashkelon, through the 42" pipeline to Eilat on the Red Sea.This activity complements the original south-to-north pumping direction, making the systemunique in its bidirectional feature. The ability to pump crude oil in both directions has also enabled EAPC to nearly double its operational storage capacity.
