About EcoMotion EcoMotion is a dynamic and growing smart mobility community comprised of over: 650 startups 15,000 community members & Our mission is to advance the smart mobility sector through tech and innovation by supporting startups and working with the global mobility ecosystem. Founded in 2012, EcoMotion is a joint venture of the Israel Innovation Institute together with Israel’s Ministry of Transport and Road Safety, the Ministry of Economy and Industry and the Israeli and global automotive & High-Tech industries. EcoMotion Activities EcoMotion creates a platform for startups to connect with other community members including global industry, entrepreneurs, academy, government, public sector companies, investors and more, to share knowledge, and to explore synergies. EcoMotion encourages innovation through meetups, challenge competitions, trainings, investor gatherings, the annual EcoMotion Week Main Event and more. In recent years, EcoMotion has focused on enabling the implementation of smart mobility solutions in the public sector by working closely with municipalities, public transportation providers, infrastructure companies and more. About EcoMotion Week Growing from a one-day event, EcoMotion Week has become one of the most exciting global events dedicated to smart mobility with over 3,000 people in attendance. This year, we celebrate our 11th annual event! EcoMotion Week includes a trade show featuring over 100 exhibiting startups, industry booths, panel discussions, startup pitches and demos. The week is filled with side events, B2B meetings and opportunities for knowledge sharing and networking. It’s the place to be for all things smart mobility! At EcoMotion Week 2023, we are excited to host over 90 company delegations, 75 partners, and attendees joining from 60 countries around the world. EMW23 - Mobility 360! This year’s theme is Mobility 360. Mobility 360 is a mindset which looks at new mobility tech and innovation as part of holistic and interconnected systems. The smart mobility sector intersects and is interdependent with the development of smart cities, sustainability, consumer behavior, safety, connectivity, convenience and so much more. The EcoMotion community covers a broad range of technologies which are impacting each of these areas and how we live our lives.

We are living through a mobility evolution and revolution. Simultaneously. At the heart of these changes is technology. We see how mobility solutions are significantly impacting our world, our environment, our cities and our communities. That is what this year’s conference theme -- Mobility360 -- is all about. EcoMotion has the privilege of bringing together all things “smart mobility”. We are dedicated to supporting innovation in the smart mobility ecosystem by enabling startups and bringing together all the relevant stakeholders (industry, investors, government, academia, etc). When all the players in a given sector are brought together, as we are doing at this Mobility360 conference, synergies are generated and the potential is almost limitless. This booklet, featuring our 75+ EMW23 partners, reflects this dynamic collaboration. Our partners represent a diverse landscape of stakeholders who are engaged in advancing this evolution and revolution – OEMs, Tier 1s, associations, transportation operators, public sector offices, VCs, service providers, accelerators, innovation hubs, and the innovating startups themselves. The success of this conference is largely due to the active participation of these partners. We so appreciate this mutually beneficial collaboration. I accepted the role as Executive Director of EcoMotion in November 2022, so this is my first EcoMotion Week. I want to thank the many of you who so warmly welcomed me to this community. I am astounded by the global reach of the EcoMotion network from east to west, north to south. I am indebted to my talented EcoMotion team: Assaf Oren, Noy Dagan, Daniel Levy & Chen Shnitman-Balili, who made this EcoMotion Week possible. There is so much this community has achieved to date and endless possibilities ahead of us to contribute to the evolution and revolution. I look forward to working with all of you to bring this potential to fruition.

Since our community’s inception, we have been guided by the words of Steve Jobs, who said, “Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently.” These words continue to inspire us as we work towards a brighter, cleaner future. This year, I am thrilled to welcome Jennifer as the new executive director of EcoMotion. She brings a wealth of experience and expertise, as well as new spirit to our community, and I am confident that she will help to lead us to even greater heights in the years to come. Our community has grown significantly over the years, from a small local gathering to a global movement of innovators and leaders. The companies and organizations that make up our community are setting new standards for excellence, and their commitment to making a positive impact on the world is truly inspiring. As we gather here today, I am filled with hope and optimism for the future. I believe that we have the power to create a world that is cleaner, safer, and more sustainable, and that it is our responsibility to do so. Israel is at the forefront of the smart mobility revolution. With hundreds of active startups, cutting edge technologies and innovative solutions, dozens of international R&D centers and more than $25 billion raised by smart mobility companies. Innovative solutions and technologies are crucial to achieving our goal of safer, cleaner, more inclusive and more efficient transportation for all - reducing road accidents, congestion and pollution. It is therefore our priority at the Ministry of Transport and Road Safety to continue to implement new technological solutions wherever possible, and support the smart mobility ecosystem with adaptive regulation and tools. Today, Israel boasts pioneering legislation and initiatives on a global scale. These include: An approved legal framework for commercial operation of driverless vehicles on public roads; A world acclaimed pilot and demonstration program for drone deliveries, urban air mobility and autonomous buses; Three unique test sites for automotive cybersecurity, autonomous and connected vehicles, and for urban air mobility; A dedicated Research Center for smart mobility (ISTRC); “EcoMotion” - our smart mobility community with over 13,000 members, and more. It is a great pleasure to welcome all of you to the 11th annual EcoMotion event. Israel is known as a hub for innovation and as a powerhouse for pioneering technologies. Israeli thinkers, makers, and doers have been changing the worlds of health, environment, security, and media for years, and in the last decade – automotive and transportation as well. Israel excels in the automobile smart technology sector, despite not having a local Israeli car manufacturer of its own. With 1,400 new startups opening per year, presence of hundreds of multinational companies, thousands of visionary entrepreneurs, and a comprehensive business ecosystem, there are significant opportunities for innovation to thrive in Israel. Leading automotive brands, manufacturers and tech leaders are looking towards Israel as they create the next generation of smart vehicles and are playing a key role in the Israeli ecosystem. We welcome all of them and are proud to be part of the future mobility revolution. The Ministry of Economy and Industry supports EcoMotion, the smart transportation community in Israel, as we believe the traditional model of innovation has been undergoing fundamental changes. With this perception, we established 14 “Innovation Ecosystem Communities” in significant industrial and economic sectors.
