International Film Festival
The first and largest film festival in Israel, founded in 1983, has since become an esteemed event within the Israeli film scene and the international film industry. The 40th festival is scheduled to take place from October 15th to October 26th, 2024. The festival's artistic program is meticulously curated through a rigorous selection process, featuring award-winning films from some of the world's most prominent festivals. Special emphasis is placed on cinema that promotes diversity, pluralism, coexistence, and the pursuit of peace. Since 2022, the festival has been affiliated with the Academy Awards, enabling the winner of the prize for Best Independent Israeli Short Feature Film to compete in the Oscar competition.

Many guests from the Israeli and international film industry attend the festival, participating in film screenings and industry events. These guests hail from various fields including acting, directing, production, and distribution. Among the festival celebrated guests throughout the years: Paul Schrader, Willem Dafoe, Valeria Bruni Tedeschi, Elliott Gould, Brian Cox, Claude Lanzmann, Theo Angelopoulos, Peter Greenaway, Alba Rohrwacher, Andrey Zvyagintsev, Paul Giamatti, Maïwenn and many more.

The festival's industry events have garnered international praise and recognition both locally and globally. These events include: Pitching masterclasses for feature and student films Cinemarket Haifa, a platform supporting projects in advanced production stages Masterclasses Roundtable gatherings of local and international filmmakers, with a focus on Mediterranean cinema, and aimed at fostering investments and co-productions.

Exposure through the festival's digital campaign and across social media platforms, reaching an average of 3.5 million impressions

Advertising opportunities include: Ads on seats, fences, banners, billboards, and backstage areas, step and repeat banners (press walls), and more. Outside the festival halls, including Box Office Square, the Festival Garden, Mania Shohat Garden, and the Festival Promenade , provide ample branding opportunities. Additionally, branding within the festival halls – Rappaport Hall, the Auditorium Hall, and Krieger Hall – offers further exposure to attendees.
