they will not have to struggle to keep up with the curriculum. The students are also in contact with the children’s schools to help them with the current material studied, which they missed because of the disease and treatments. The responses of the mentors and the families are very enthusiastic and provide the ICA with the drive to continue this excellent program. This year, about 400 children participated in the project, with a total of 100,000 tutoring hours provided during the entire year. The 'Hope for Life'® project is funded by the Israel Cancer Association and Michal Kahalani , ICA’s Human Resources Coordinator is in charge of liaison with the students, while Linda Yadai is in charge of assigning the students and liaison with the families. ICA Family Vacation at Neve Ilan Hotel Each August, the Israel Cancer Association hosts its annual family vacation, with more than 90 families participating. The children and their parents arrived at Neve Ilan Hotel for three days of fun, rest, and respite from the disease and treatments, to allow them to rejuvenate and gather strength to continue facing the long, complex trajectory ahead. During the vacation, the children and their families enjoyed live shows, fire acts, table games, Gymboree, fountain pool and swimming pool.

Social and Scholastic Support Scholarship students who are part of the Israel Cancer Association’s support array help cancer patients who live on their own, children diagnosed with cancer, healthy children who have a parent coping with cancer, and healthy siblings of a child with cancer, or volunteer in cancer units across Israel. The project recruits students who are members of the IMPACT! and SHAHAK programs as well as the HESEG Foundation . This year, about 66 students participated through IMPACT, about 20 from SHAHAK and 10 students from HESEG. In addition to the personal connection with the student throughout the year, two group meetings are held in each of the three regions, giving the volunteers a chance to share their experiences, doubts, difficulties, sense of satisfaction, and personal and
