The goal of the campaign is to motivate women and men aged 50 and above to contact their HMOs and take a simple test for early detection of colorectal cancer. The campaign ran on social media, in the press, and on radio. In order to draw attention, the radio broadcast opened with the sound of a toilet flushing.

Colorectal cancer is one of the most prevalent cancer diseases in Israel. In 2005, a national screening program for early detection of colorectal cancer was launched by the ICA and the Ministry of Health. The program is based on an annual fecal occult blood test over the age of 50 and through to 74 in individuals with average risk. And colonoscopy for those at a higher risk. Colorectal cancer occurs at similar rates among women and men. It is the second most common cancer among women in Israel, after breast cancer, and the third most common in men after prostate cancer and lung cancer. According to World Health Organization data, colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide. It is estimated that in 2020, more than 1.9 million new cases of colorectal cancer were diagnosed worldwide, and more than 930,000 deaths occurred due to this cancer. According to the Israel Cancer Association's assessment, in 2023 approximately 3,000 women and men were diagnosed with colorectal cancer in Israel, and about 1,300 Israelis died from the disease.
