The event took place Dec. 12th at the National Croquet Center in West Palm Beach, FL. Turnout to the cabaret was exciting. The event kicked off at 6 p.m. with cocktails and sizzled into the evening with a glittering performance by nationally acclaimed vocalist, Carole J. Bufford . Friends, special guests and glittering entourage convened for the occasion over cocktails, a scrumptious dinner, fabulous live auction and the dazzling cabaret show.

A key goal for the special gathering was to widen understanding about ICA – USA, with its Palm Beach Headquarters, comprising the U.S. arm of the Israel Cancer Association in Israel - the oldest, largest, and leading cancer patients' advocate NGO. Israel is known for its extraordinary efforts in medical advancements and interventions, and cancer research can be conducted at a third to a quarter of the cost of like research in the United States. Recent exciting findings, supported by ICA - USA grants, involve identifying factors that are causing changes in the way scientists view gene predictors, and their association with diagnosing and treating cancer. ICA-USA funded scientists are recognized internationally as a formidable source of scientific innovation, breakthrough thinking, tireless determination, and skilled use of resources that have been the hallmark of Israeli science and technology for the last 70 years, and the purpose of ICA- USA for the last 30 years.

Each detail of the night was planned to provide a backdrop for an evening to remember, in support of the fight against cancer and life-changing research.
