United Kingdom The London Friends of ICA (FICA), headed by the enthusiastic Mrs. Vered Aaron , continue to show their unyielding support by coordinating events aimed at assisting cancer patients in Israel. FICA London Event

A fundraising event of the Friends of ICA in London was held on November 20th, led by Mrs. Vered Aaron , who has been serving as chairperson of FICA for over two decades. The event was attended by approximately 200 women from the Jewish community in London, who enlisted to purchase a mammography-guided biopsy device for the Breast Care Unit at Soroka Medical Center in Beer Sheva, which services a broad population in the Negev region. The event was held courtesy of the Aaron family and the Shemesh family. Lady Jill Shaw Ruddock , who wrote a book about menopause titled, 'The Second Half of Your Life', was a guest speaker at the event. Dr. Shira Peleg , a gynecologist specializing in menopause, also participated in the panel and answered questions about menopause and its physiological and psychological effects on women.
