tions have been submitted to the govern ment which include the expansion of existing support programs as well as cre ating new ones that specifically target the unique challenges faced by the Galilee's AgriFood-Tech sector. Substantial grants to incentivize the return of specialized human resources, to support research and development infrastructures, and provide tailored compensation mecha nisms for pre-revenue R&D companies, are needed to ensure their continued op eration. The Israel AgriFood-Tech Valley stands at a critical juncture, as the war has severely impacted the region's eco nomic and research landscape. Yet, the resilient spirit of the Galilee, along with strategic national and philanthropic sup port, holds the potential not only for re covery, but for renewal that will propel the region to new heights. The future of northern Israel, and its position as a global leader in AgriFood-Tech innova tion, depends on our collective efforts to restore and strengthen the industries that form the backbone of this unique ecosys tem. “There is much work to be done, and the Cluster Management is tirelessly working to help rehabilitate the north. We are continuously creating connec tions and partnerships while making plans for the return home after the war. We are helping startup companies re ceive grants from the tax authorities and are in constant communication with gov ernment ministries on the importance of promoting, rehabilitating, and growing the region. In addition, we are reaching out to agricultural training bodies to pro mote the agriculture sector in Israel and worldwide, and are working on econom ic growth plans for after the war. “We will continue to promote the eco system and its establishment as a region al, national, and global center together with all our partners. This is the new Zionism and Israeli identity,” explains Arik Dayan, Chairman of The Israel AgriFood-Tech Valley, and Head of the Strategic Committee, of Tel Hai College.
