Murdered by Hamas terrorists in the horrific attack on Kibbutz Nahal Oz on October 7, 2023, aged 18. Mazal “Mazi” Bacha z”l Mother of Tel-Hai student Ayla Ofri. Murdered by Hamas terrorists in the horrific attack on Kibbutz Be’eri on October 7, 2023, aged 63. Lili Itamari z”l Ram Itamari z”l Parents of Tel-Hai graduate Tomer Itamari. Murdered by Hamas terrorists in the horrific attack on Kibbutz Kfar Azza on October 7, 2023, aged 63, 56. Superintendent Avi Zidon z”l Master Sergeant Lior Arazi z”l Nephews of former CFO and advisor to Tel-Hai, Moti Cohen. Avi, a police officer, fell in combat on October 7, 2023, aged 50. Lior, IDF soldier, fell in combat on November 4, 2023, aged 25.

Major Ido Israel Shani z”l Brother of Tel-Hai faculty member Keren Shani. IDF soldier, fell in combat on October 7, 2023, aged 29. Danielle Waldman z”l Daughter of Tel-Hai's board of trustees' member Eyal Waldman. Murdered by Hamas terrorists in the horrific attack on Kibbutz Hulit on October 7, 2023, aged 24. Shoshana Karsenty z”l Mayana Hershkovitz z”l Noah Hershkovitz z”l Grandmother, mother and father of Tel-Hai faculty member Ella Berkovich. Murdered by Hamas terrorists in the horrific attack on Kibbutz Be’eri on October 7, 2023, aged 87, 65, 68. Meir Elharar z”l Liz Halfon Elharar z”l Father and stepmother of Tel-Hai student Doron Elharar.

Major Jamal Abbas z”l Cousin of Tel-Hai faculty member Sarah Abbas. IDF soldier, fell in combat on November 18, 2023, aged 23. Staff Sergeant Adi Malik Harb z”l Cousin of Tel-Hai faculty member Hiya Hareb. IDF soldier, fell in combat on November 18, 2023, aged 19.

Master Sergeant Tzvika Lavi z”l

Brother of Tel-Hai student Tamar Lavi. IDF reserve soldier, mortally wounded in combat on November 20 and succumbed to his wounds on December 11, 2023, aged 30.

Murdered by Hamas terrorists in the horrific attack on Kibbutz Hulit on October 7, 2023, aged 46.
