What Makes the Neve Dekalim Hesder Yeshiva Unique?

The Hesder Yeshiva Of Neve Dekalim was founded in 5736(1976) in the city of Yamit in the Sinai peninsula, with the goal of cultivating heads of familise who are Torah scholars, deeply connected to the values of the Torah to the land of israel and actively involved in Israeli society.

Following the evacuation of the Yamit region in 5742(1982), the yeshiva relocated to GUSH KATIF, where it became a spiritual and communal anchor for the residents of the area. Nore then 100 graduates of the yeshiva married and made their homes in GUSH KATIF.

Av 5765(2005), the yeshiva along with all its students, avrechim, rabbis and staff once again packed its belongings, as the Disengagement Plan was set into motion.

While most Hesder yeshivot

were founded once...

It was only after twelve years of displacement and wandering that we the honor of inaugurating the new campus. Today, we joyfully celebrate 50 years a jubilee of Torah, service, and resilience.

The Neve Dekalim Hesder Yeshiva

has been founded three times!!!

Throughout the decades, our yeshiva has nurtured generations of Torah scholars and IDF soldiers, carrying the sacred mission of combining Torah study with national service. For five decades and with God's help, for many more to come we’ve stood at the heart of Am Yisrael’s spiritual and national journey.

Now, we turn to you—our dear our dear friends and supporters—to join us in this remarkable journey. Our yeshiva’s story is woven into the very fabric of modern Jewish history.
