טיפולים מקומיים בסרטן מעי גס גרורתי

סיכום טיפול משולב לגרורות בחלל הצפק הביא לעלייה משמעותית בשרידות של החולים ובמקרים מסוימים אף מאפשר ריפוי מלא מהמחלה. קיימת חשיבות גדולה לטיפול בחולים אלה במרכזים בעלי ניסיון מיד לאחר זיהוי המעורבות של הצפק. מה צפוי בעתיד? כרגע מתקיימים שלושה ניסויים קליניים שבודקים את התפקיד של ניתוח למניעת גרורות בצפק בחולים עם סיכון strongly influence treatment and survival in patients with synchronous colorectal peritoneal metastases. האם ניתן לשפר תוצאות של טיפול במחלה גרורתית של הצפק? לדעתנו כן. עומס המחלה בבטן והיכולת לבצע כריתה שלמה של הגידול הינם גורמים חשובים לניבוי שרידות. הפניית חולה בעת גילוי גרורות של הצפק למרכז המתמחה בטיפול בהן יאפשר לנתחו מוקדם ככל האפשר. כמו כן, במקרים בהם גרורות בצפק מזוהות בזמן הניתוח של הגידול הראשוני במעי , אנו ממליצים שלא להשלים את הניתוח ולהפנות את המטופל למרכז מומחה למחלה. 9 Goéré D, Malka D, Tzanis D, et al.
