Systematic Review of GSM Physical Treatments

37 studies were about the CO2 laser(n=2513 women), 10 were about the Erbium laser (n=772), and two were about Radiofrequency. For the CO2 laser a total of 22 studies were prospective, six were retrospective, five were cohort, and four were randomized clinical trials. In the two studies on radiofrequency, 43 women were included. One study was a prospective, descriptive, double- blind randomized controlled trial, and the other was prospective, exploratory, and open label.
