Israel law enables police to interrogate minors only if they have been especially FHUWLƉHG WR GR VR 2QFH D \HDU WKH +DUXY ,QVWLWXWH FHUWLƉHV SROLFH ZKR DUH FHUWLƉHG investigators of the invalid, to be youth & child investigators, as required by law. The Israel police trains the youth investigators on interrogation-related issues, and the Haruv Institute trains on issues regarding child victims of crime and encouraging children to talk.
