The Negev Conference on Child Welfare – July 2017 In Partnership with: The National Council for the Child and Ben-Gurion University in the Negev. Goal: The Haruv Institute is a major partner in the Negev Conference. This partnership led two sessions that addressed the issue of maltreated children. The first session was devoted to the concept of privacy when protecting child victims of abuse and neglect that were placed outside their, following abuse they had experienced. The second session was devoted to the special protection of disabled children, in regard to social and sexual education and prevention of sexual abuse. Target Population: Professionals and policy-makers in the field of child welfare in Israel.
