Haruv Institute - Annual Report 2017

APPENDIX: A SURVEY OF THE PAST DECADE

With the completion of a decade of activity, we returned to the people who took part in various training programs the Institute offered over the years, to evaluate the experience of participating in them.

THE SAMPLE POPULATION AND PROCESS The survey, done via Qualtrics (an internet-based questionnaire), was carried out during March,2018. We used the e-mail addresses of the participants in the various programs, as they appeared on the Institute’s mailing list. A total of 513 people completed the questionnaire, and they form the sample population of this survey. It is important to note that this is a convenience sample which does not claim to represent all those who participated in the Institute’s programs. The questionnaires were filled anonymously, and required only a few minutes of one’s time. The questions on the survey were formulated with the input and consultation of the institute’s staff, so as to reach a general impression of the experience of participating in the various training programs, without focusing on any one program or sector.
