Haruv Institute - Annual Report 2018

DISSEMINATING INFORMATION, BRANDING AND MARKETING

BRANDING AND MARKETING THE ACTIVITIES OF THE HARUV INSTITUTE

For many years the Institute has worked and created a large body of contents for many target populations; however, during that time no special emphasis was placed on the subject of branding these contents. During the past two years we have gone through a branding and designing process in order to create unity and a unique visibility of all the contents, so that they can be identified and recognized by the target populations with whom we come into contact through our work. By using the strategic tool of brandingandmarketing the Institute’swork, we aremakingaccessible all of the Institute’s activities, along with all the information on the maltreatment of children that has accrued over the past decade of significant work. To that end, we have upgraded the Institute’s logo and produced videos that present the many initiatives the Institute supports, such as the promotional video on the occupational therapy clinic located at the Haruv Children's Campus. This animated film - produced in honor of Israel’s 70th Anniversary – presents the work of the clinic and ours seventy years from now. Another video was produced summarizing the first decade of the Institute’s activities, as well as a video about the “MeHalev” initiative that is devoted to the prevention of the maltreatment of children. As part of this new direction, the magazine “Meeting Point”, which is published twice a year, also enjoyed a new and fresh design, as did our annual report. Additionally, the informative materials published by the Institute have also been greatly improved - such as the Institute’s invitations to conferences, study seminars, training seminars and learning programs; syllabuses, pamphlets, brochures and promotional materials that the Institute distributes at conferences, seminars and training programs. At the same time, we have renewed and refreshed our internet site, our Facebook page and weekly newsletter. Effective branding will, in the long run, create immediate recognition of the relevant contents and increased familiarity with them, and will cultivate our target population’s ties with the extensive work of the Institute.
