TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR STUDENTS OF SOCIAL WORK

Seminars with Simulations (with professional actors) April – June 2018 In collaboration with: Ben-Gurion University, Tel-Hai Academic College, the Hebrew University, Jerusalem Goal: To expose students to the topic of trauma in childhood and its effects, and provide skills in talking with at-risk families, via the use of simulation. Target Population: Students of social work.

Number of Sessions: 1-2 sessions in each institution

Number of Participants: Approximately 120 at each session

Location: Throughout Israel

Budget : NIS 60,000

Course for Students from the Hebrew University: The Principles of Trauma- Informed Therapy with Children and families March – June 2018 In collaboration with: The Hebrew University, Jerusalem Goal: To provide the principles of childhood trauma-informed therapy. Target Population: M.A. Students in Social Work, at the Paul Baerwald School of Social Work.

Number of Sessions: 12

Number of Participants: 30

Location: The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Mt. Scopus

Budget : NIS 20,000
