Workshop for Juvenile & Family Court Judges, led by Prof. Joy Osofsky December 2, 2018 Goal: To study the substance of the Safe Babies Court model, which links babies and their families with the support and services they require – to promote the healthy development of the child, while at the same time ensuring a quicker exit from the judicial system consequent to maltreatment. Target Population: Juvenile and Family Court judges.

TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR ATTORNEYS

Basic Course July – December 2018

Goal: To provide an additional leading group of attorneys comprehensive expertise on subjects relating to child abuse; to deepen the attorneys’ understanding and their sensitivity to the needs and problems of the population of child victims of abuse, to augment the minor’s participation in the judicial procedures, and understand the complexity of the child’s psycho- social environment. Target Population: Attorneys from various regions.
