One-Day Seminar and Simulation on Maltreated Children, for the Special Education Staff, David Yellin College January 30, 2018
In Partnership with: The Special Education Department, David Yellin College Goal: To impart information on the abuse of special needs children: Characteristics and risk factors, mandatory reporting and intervention in the community in cases of maltreatment of children with special needs; discussion with the staff, the parents and children on suspected maltreatment; a lecture combined with dramatized scenarios played by the actors of “Messer”. Target Population: The teaching and counseling staff of the Special Education Department at David Yellin College.

Target Population: Volunteers of the Yearly Service Program.
