The first Annual One-Day Seminar of the Campus: Children in the Middle – Maltreatment of Children in the Course of a High Conflict Divorce January 11, 2018 Goal: To put the spotlight on a phenomenon that cuts across sectors and populations and concerns all professionals working with children – divorce in the family. This includes parental incitement and alienation that children experience in the course of the parents’ divorce procedures. At the seminar, the many facets of this problem were presented, along with
innovative intervention methods in Israel and abroad. Target Population: Professionals from throughout Israel.

Conference: Dental Care for Maltreated Children – November 7, 2018 Goal: Oral signs may expose different forms of abuse and may be similar to the symptoms that result from dental neglect. The goal of the conference was to increase awareness of the phenomenon of maltreatment of children, to learn how to recognize it and record it in writing and photography. To train the participants to look at all the exposed areas of the body and when identifying wounds– to provide the required treatment for the face and jaws of the child and, if needed, refer him to further medical care. An additional objective is to become familiar with the law for mandatory reporting. Target Population: Professionals in the field of child dentistry.
