the Institute in training professionals, spreading innovative, up-to-date information in the field, as well as exchanging delegations of academicians and policy-makers from different countries. · Publication of an international academic journal – The Institute has joined with the Kemp Center in Denver, Colorado, to publish a new journal from Springer Publications. · Initiatives, innovation, developing new projects and joint collaborations in the field of child maltreatment, by pooling resources and knowledge. These initiatives include the initiation, construction and operation of the Haruv Children's Campus , the “MeHalev” initiative (preventing child abuse), the Strong Communities project for the prevention of child abuse and neglect, and more. The Haruv Institute employs over twenty staff workers from different professions related to each field of activity. The Institute’s work is escorted by a public Board of Directors, whose members are prominent figures in the related professional fields.
