The Sixth International Workshop for Doctoral Students of the Haruv Institute December 11-13, 2018 Background and Goal: The international workshop for doctoral students was held for the sixth time. The workshop brings together experts and doctoral students – from Israel and abroad – whose research focuses on maltreated children, and provides the participants with a unique opportunity to receive feedback on their doctoral thesis at different stages of their research. During the workshop, social and professional ties are formed that serve as an infrastructure for a wide network of young researchers throughout the world, who are interested in researching children-at-risk and who promote the vision of the Haruv Institute as a leading world center in researching the phenomenon of maltreated children. Target Population: Doctoral students in Israel and abroad focusing on the field of maltreatment of children.

Number of Sessions: A three-day workshop

Number of Participants: 12 doctoral students from 8 countries: Australia, United States, South Korea, Holland, Germany. England, Finland and Israel

Location: The Haruv Institute, Mt Scopus campus, the Hebrew University, Jerusalem

Budget: NIS 80,000
