Haruv Institute - Annual Report 2019

TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR SOCIAL WORK STUDENTS

STUDY AND TRAINING PROGRAMS | WELFARE

Since its inception, The Haruv Institute has trained thousands of social work students from schools of social work, universities and colleges throughout Israel. The goal of the training programs is to make accessible to students professional contents and work practices applicable to intervention in cases of suspected child maltreatment. The training programs are carried out in two methods: A. Practical training for students at the Hebrew University, via exposure to the many services provided by Haruv Children's Campus in response to the phenomenon of child maltreatment. The institute accompanies and supports students throughout the year. B. Concentrated study days teaching students the principles of intervention, and dialogue with families and children at risk.
