TRAINING PROGRAM FOR THE BEIT LYNN PROTECTION CENTERS STAFF
Annual
Primary Goal: Training programs for Beit Lynn homes staff are designed to enhance staff understanding of professional treatment issues that surface during routine work at the center. The institute assists learning in several ways: Individual instruction, group instruction for each center staff, and joint training days for all centers' staff. In 2019 three study days were held in Netanya, Safed and Ashkelon, addressing the following topics: Encouraging children to share, cultural accessibility for the Ultra-Orthodox community, and deepening knowledge of childhood trauma. Additionally, a nine-session training program was held for Beit Lynn homes directors, to consolidate perception of the director’s role in leading a protection center. They included shared learning and examining issues and challenges in the directors' work: consultation on managerial dilemmas; experiential learning of managerial skills focused on directing specialist partners and observing oneself; inspiration and learning from colleagues, support group and sharing.
Number of Sessions: 8 directors and 21 staff members
Number of Participants: Total of 12: 3 for staff and 9 for directors
Budget: ILS 120,000
