Study Day: Trauma in Preschoolers and Violence towards Children January 2, 2019

Partners: The Foundation for Developing Programs for Preschoolers and Community Work, Ramla Goal: Teach professionals in the Arab sector about trauma in preschoolers, talking with children, and children exposed to violence, and violence towards children. Target Population: Professionals in the Arab sector - counselors, educators, teachers, kindergarten teachers and mothers

The Negev Conference on Child Welfare February 12, 2019

Partners: The National Council for the Child, Ben-Gurion University Background and Goal: The conference focuses on child welfare from the perspective of comprehensive policy, and addresses various subjects related to the welfare of children and youth in Israeli society. It is designed to facilitate dialogue between participants and discuss policy advancement in 2019. The Haruv Institute participated in the session on children at risk: Training professionals in the field of maltreated children – mandatory for every profession, or "What does it have to do with us?" Target population: Professionals and policy-makers in the field of child welfare in Israel, and professionals in the fields of social work, education, treatment, legislation and the judiciary
