Goal: Provide comprehensive and reliable information on the extent of the phenomenon in Israel, and enable tracking changes over time, from both a local and international perspective. This will assist in policy planning, resource allocation and initiating programs in the field. During the year, the first index monitoring was carried out among adolescents by the Geocartography Institute, results will be published once the government is established in the course of 2020. Target Population: Policy-makers and general public Program Duration: Throughout the year; data published annually

ESTABLISHING A FORUM OF AMBASSADORS FOR THE PREVENTION OF CHILD MALTREATMENT
Annual
Goal: Expand legitimacy of public discourse on the importance of child maltreatment, in order to raise public and political awareness. The forum ambassadors will work together in enlisting communities as extensively as possible, to cope with the phenomenon and increase exposure as a national problem that requires multi- profession and multi-system engagement. During the year a work program was created along with a list of potential forum candidates. Recruiting members will begin in early 2020 and launch is planned for June 2020. Target Population: Directors and prominent figures in Israel's economy, banking, hi-tech, venture capital funds and philanthropy, media, strategic counseling, etc.
