The Haruv Institute Seventh International Workshop For Doctoral Students December 10-12, 2019 Background and Goal: This year we held the seventh international workshop for doctoral students. It brings together experts and doctoral students from Israel and abroad whose research focuses on maltreated children, and provides them with the unique opportunity to receive feedback on their doctoral theses at different research stages. Social networks are formed with the purpose of promoting dialogue between young researchers throughout the world, all of whom take interest in researching children at risk. These personal and professional relationships formed during the workshop, lay the basis for an extensive network of young researchers worldwide, who advance the vision of the Haruv Institute as a leading world center in research of maltreated children. Target Population: Doctoral students from Israel and abroad focusing on the field of maltreated children.
Number of Sessions: One three-day workshop
Number of Participants: 14 doctoral students from nine countries: Ireland, USA, Germany, Holland, England, Brazil, Spain, Canada and Israel
Location: Haruv Institute, Mt. Scopus campus of the Hebrew University, Jerusalem
Budget: ILS 80,000
