TRAINING YOUTH DEVELOPMENT STAFF The Haruv Institute collaborates extensively with the Israel Association of Community Centers and the HILA youth development program. In 2020, seven advanced study programs were held in various venues across the country, as well as two national advanced study programs. Trauma Characteristics and Mental-Emotional Implications: Professional Perspective, Therapeutic Intervention and Response February – July 2020 Objective: Teaching the professional perspective for identification, and individual and systemic response to mental-emotional implications manifest in youth and adolescents’ relationships and daily functioning. Target audience: Therapeutic and educational staff at youth development units in Tel Aviv and Haifa regions

Number of Sessions: 22: 5 in South TLV, 7 in North TLV, 7 in Haifa

Number of Participants: approximately 100

Venue: The various regions and online

Trauma Informed Work with At-Risk Youth: Advanced Training at Ultra Orthodox Beitar Ilit January 2020 Objective: Teaching the trauma lens, understanding trauma manifestations and implications, and familiarization with trauma care principals. Target audience: Youth development staff in the Ultra-Orthodox Beitar Ilit, and professionals from welfare, education and services departments
