Public Lecture and Workshop in Memory of Patricia Van Horn January 13 th , 2020
Partners: Hebrew University Objective: Annual guest lecture by a specialist, and scholarship for young researchers/ professionals in the field. This year Dr. Miriam Steele lectured on therapeutic interventions for preschoolers; discussion was led by Dr. Daphne Dolberg of the Academic College in Tel Aviv Jaffa. The purpose of the workshop is to facilitate senior clinicians meeting and learning from specialists abroad, and provide scholarships to researchers and clinicians in the field of trauma in preschoolers. Target audience: The lecture is open to the public; the workshop is for professionals specializing in preschool age.

Beyond the Criminal Proceedings: Joint Seminar with the Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel (ARCCI) January 27 th , 2020 Partners: ARCCI Objective: Teaching additional perspectives to treating victims, expanding observation, discourse and introducing various individual and community programs. The Seminar addressed alternative response to criminal proceedings, victims’ needs and professionals’ challenges. Program included a victim’s testimonial. Target audience: open to all professionals in the field
