Nutritional Aspects of Maltreated Children: Nutrition Students October 2020 – January 2021

Partners: School of Nutritional Sciences, Hebrew University Objective: Teaching knowledge and skills to detect, diagnose and treat child victims of maltreatment. Nutritionists meet children and parents at important junctions and create meaningful relationships with them. Research has found correlation between eating disorders and child maltreatment, thus Haruv attributes importance to the nutrition student’s role in detecting, diagnosing and treating these children.
