Hamifal - Educational Children’s Homes March - April, August - November 2021 Partners: Hamifal and the Ministry for Community Empowerment and Advancement Objective: continued learning of the principles of trauma care in residential care, and establishing an organizational professional perspective as part of the professionalization program Hamifal began in 2020 for all its frameworks. A cross-organizational program was held, followed by eight focused programs in children’s villages countywide. Each program consisted of tour sessions. Village staff all participated, as well as day-care staff.

Regional Program for Eight Children’s Villages Country-Wide

Sessions: 32: 4 for each village

participants: 240 residential care staff: houseparents, educational coordinator, manager, social workers and volunteers

Venue: online and children’s villages in Afula, Hurfish, Karmiel, Ashdod, Ashkelon, Givat Ada, HaKfar HaYarok and Nes Ziona
