STUDENT TRAINING AND ACADEMIC COURSES
Student Training
Student Training at Haruv Children’s Campus
Since its establishment, Haruv Institute has trained thousands of university and college students country-wide, in faculties for social work, occupational therapy, speech therapy, law and criminology. The purpose of these trainings is making available to them professional content and proper working procedures for intervention in cases of suspected child maltreatment. This is accomplished in several ways: Practical training: exposure to Haruv Campus services provided to maltreated children. The Institute supports students throughout the year. Seminars: concentrated learning days for students of varying academic institutions, exposing them to the principles of intervention and communication with families and children at risk.
Instructor meetings: bi-monthly practical training instructors meet to deliberate on training topics.
