1950s Israel. Sixteen-year old Nuri, who was born in Baghdad, is sent alone by his father to Jerusalem in order to secure an apartment for his family. Earning his living by delivering newspapers on his bicycle and running errands for the prime minister's office, he tries to fit into the new country

while dreaming of a different life.
