Security forces and medical staff will be present along the course. Contact them if you feel unwell during the race. Remember to drink isotonic drinks to replenish the salt lost through excessive sweat during the race. On the back of your bib number, you should write any specific medical sensitivities you might have, and the name and phone number of someone to call in case of emergency.

Get at least 7 hours of sleep on the night before the race.
Drink 1-2 cups of water every 15-20 minutes during the race (drink at every water station). Do not exert yourself beyond your personal ability. If you were sick on the days prior to the race avoid participation.
