• BRCA early detection screening – to raise awareness to breast cancer and the importance of taking the early screening tests for BRCA gene mutation in Ashkenazi women. The mutations increase the risk of developing breast and ovarian cancer. The campaign was launched on social media and sent to clinics and HMOs. The campaign garnered over 500,000 views .
Today, Israel is ranked at the top of the European chart in mammography screening compliance, while reducing disparities, and on the global chart, is among the leading countries in breast cancer recovery rates in women. The mobile unit’s route is updated on a regular basis and is accompanied by the ICA’s information program. Information Campaign • Breast cancer early detection – ahead of awareness month’ a campaign was launched with the title: ‘Don’t let anyone distort what you’re feelings’. The campaign was produced by Gitam BBDO on a voluntary basis and distributed on TV, radio, digital platforms and billboards. The video garnered about 1.2 million views .
• Information materials – breast cancer prevention and early detection materials were sent to public institutions and organizations across the country, and to HMOs, government offices, hi-tech companies and more. The ICA also distributed a pink ribbon with its logo in recognition of breast cancer awareness month.
