Israel Cancer Association USA held its Annual Meeting in November, and all position holders maintained their appointment throughout 2022: President of the Board of Directors Bruce Koppel , Secretary/Treasurer Peter Brown , Executive Vice Presidents – Lexye Aversa , Arthur E. Benjamin and Ross Berman , Advisory Board – Nancy Brown , Linda R. Kaminow and Daisy Merey , MD, and Board of Directors members – Richard J. Boxer , MD, Adam Brown , Kenneth Druskin , Deena Freeman , David Genser , Celia R. Jacobs , Elyssa Kupferberg , Sean McGould , Phyllis Melman , Steven Melman , John Merey , MD, Wilma Mooney , Harvey Poppel , Barry Slotnick and Eric Smith . ICA USA is Proud to Once Again Charity Navigator is a charity assessment organization that evaluates charitable organizations in the United States, operating as a free 501 organization that accepts no advertising or donations from the organizations it evaluates. ICA USA has received their highest rating. 13th Annual Golf Classic Tournament Israel Cancer Association’s (USA) 13th Annual Golf Classic took place on Monday, April 17th 2023 at the exclusive St. Andrews Country Club in Boca Raton, Florida. ICA USA had over 100 players, who gathered for this tournament, which included a lunch, a silent auction and an awards dinner. be Rated Four-Star by Charity Navigator

Nancy & Peter Brown , Ross Berman and Dr. Steve Melman and his wife Phyliss , chaired this year’s tournament which raised close to $250.000. Sponsors included: many St. Andrews Residents such as Billi and Bernie Marcus and Lynn and Howard Halpern as well as outside sponsors and individuals such as Bruce Adler , Lee & Harvey Poppel , Arthur Benjamin , Goldman Sachs , and many more with players from around Palm Beach County. Eleven fellowships grants were funded by outstanding Israeli researchers.

Paul Clivio , Head of golf at St. Andrews said, “We back this wonderful organization for the second year. Their tournament is fun, well organized and for a great cause. We love having Israel Cancer Association USA here at the club.”
