country, youth movement members and volunteers, who knocked on the doors of Israel’s citizens, urging them to open their doors and hearts in support of the fight against cancer for the benefit of cancer patients. New Advertising Campaign for Print and Buses This year, a new creative concept was chosen to lead the ICA’s ‘Door Knock’® fundraising campaign. The image is of a patient’s hand connected to an IV and the caption: “Your contribution can help hundreds of cancer patients and survivors. Donate to the Israel Cancer Association’s ‘Door Knock’® fundraising campaign.’ The campaign was published as a newspaper ad and on buses and digital format.

As part of the preparations, about 850 schools were recruited, 600 from the Jewish sector and 250 from the Arab sector.

Atid Neve Nachum School in Be’er Ya’akov participated this year too, and succeeded in doubling the amount donated last year (24,027.90 ILS). The students participating in the campaign received merit certificates from the ICA. Youth Movements Like every year, the Tsofim youth movement enlisted in the project. Thank you to the position holders for their great willingness and desire to participate during this challenging year. Organizations and companies This year, we approached workers’ committees of different companies to collaborate in raising awareness to a healthy lifestyle among the organization’s employees and to participate in the ‘Door Knock’® Fundraising Campaign. Thirty-three workers’ committees received information materials from the ICA on health lifestyle, the harmful effects of smoking, and early detection, took an active part in the fundraising campaign.
