Mariculture Systems Ltd Mariculture Systems offers a groundbreaking solution for offshore fish farming that addresses the increasing worldwide demand for finfish. A semi-submersible platform enables the cultivation of large amounts of fish, even in harsh sea conditions with waves up to 17 meters high. During storms and high waves the fish cages are lowered to 30 meters below sea level allowing fish to dive below the stormy layers of the sea, which exhibits their natural behavior during storms. AI optimizes fish growth, maximizing yields and minimizing waste. This innovative technology offers a sustainable solution for large-scale fish farming. The product named COARALIS is a semi-submersible rig from which a universal net pen system is hung. This universal net pen (cages) structure can be adopted to grow different fish species. The Rig leans on the engineering development of the oil industry in recent decades enabling solutions that can withstand rough sea conditions. The operating principle is that during storms, the net pens are lowered from the sea surface down to a depth of 35 meters below sea level. This allows the fish to exhibit their natural behavior of diving deeper during storms. This principle (and others) is protected by two patents registered in 35 countries. Those solutions were already implemented in different methods of operations and therefore are proven to fully function. Both in the upper nets pen mode in calm seas and in the lower mode in rough seas, automatic feeding of the fish continues, monitored, and controlled by integrated video and acoustic systems with AI continuous improving performance of the fish growth. Founded in 1995 by Raanan Berzak, RFF initially operated as a marketing company for imported and local fish feeds. In 2001, we established our state-of-the-art production plant at I.Z.
