The culture sector significantly impacts the lifestyle of LGBTQ+ community members within the municipality. This sector encompasses important community celebration days, community-building initiatives, and key opportunities for collaboration between the LGBTQ+ community and the general public. We aimed to assess the recognition and public support level of top municipality officials within this sector. Questions examined in the culture category 1. Was there a municipality-funded activity to mark Pride Month in the summer of 2023? 2. Did a senior municipality official attend this event? 3. Was the municipality promoting the Pride event through channels such as Facebook, the municipal website, or billboards? 4. Did the municipality initiate or organize activities related to LGBTQ+ topics outside Pride Month aimed at the general public or the LGBTQ+ community? 5. Did a senior municipality official attend any of these events? 6. Were these events, or any others, advertised by the municipality through Facebook, the municipal website, or billboards?
