Municipal LGBTQ Equality Index

Acknowledgments

Implementing the Municipal LGBTQ Equality Index during wartime is an extraordinary achievement. Reflecting on the past year amid current turbulent times is particularly challenging. We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone involved in this initiative who recognized the importance of advancing the LGBTQ+ community within municipalities, even during such a period. Our heartfelt thanks go to the local activists who tirelessly promote security, equality, and enriching lives for LGBTQ+ community members nationwide. These activists are the driving force and cornerstone of our collaboration with municipalities, and their unwavering efforts throughout the year have been instrumental in implementing the Index. We also extend our gratitude to our municipal partners, including professional and elected officials, for their dedication and significant investment in supporting the diverse spectrum of the LGBTQ+ community. Special thanks to the LGBTQ+ coordinators within the municipalities who diligently work year-round to strengthen the community, foster strong local networks, and provide essential municipal services. Thanks to your support and efforts, we remain committed to growing stronger together. Finally, we appreciate the LGBTQ+ organizations that partner with The Aguda in our activities and advocacy for the community. Thank you.
