Mira's leadership has been crucial in navigating these challenging times. Her vision of the center not just as an academic entity, but as a catalyst for regional development, has inspired many students and entrepreneurs. "There is much talent and potential among our graduates and current students," Mira says. "Through better networking and support, we can expand professional and personal opportunities and create value from this potential." Collaborations have been key to the success of Tel-Hai's Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center, with partnerships spanning municipal, philanthropic, academic, and industrial sectors. “We look forward to many more fruitful collaborations for the development of northern Israel’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.” Mira concludes.

Mira Hershkovitz's journey with Tel Hai began long before she founded the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center. Born and raised in Kiryat Shmona, she has always felt a personal connection with the area. During her military service as an officer in the IDF, Mira completed her bachelor's degree at Tel-Hai College in Education and Training Systems Design, and a master's degree in leadership and education policy at the University of Haifa. During her military career, she got married and had three children. Mira always saw Tel-Hai as the place where she wanted to work after retiring from the military, and always saw the Galilee as the place where she wanted to raise her children, despite all the challenges of a peripheral area. Deeply invested in the future of the Galilee, she saw Tel-Hai as a home in which to realize her dreams in the educational field and contribute to the development of the region. While establishing and managing Tel-Hai’s Career Center, Mira also founded the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center. at Tel-Hai. In the framework of this position, she became a part of many regional development programs. In 2016, she founded Tel-Hai's alumni organization and its subsidiary, 'Hai B' Tel-Hai' - 'Living in Tel-Hai,' providing a supportive community for graduates who chose to settle in the region. Mira's multifaceted professional experience and her deep understanding of the region's needs have been instrumental in shaping the center's vision and its impact.
