סיכום למרות הקדמה, אין תחליף לשיקול דעתו של הרופא ולמיומנותו. הכשלונות בסריקה אינטרה-אוראלית אינם נובעים רק ממגבלות טכנולוגיות, אלא גם מהאופן שבו נעשה בהן שימוש. ההצלחה טמונה בשילוב בין ידע קליני, הבנה טכנית ותרבות עבודה מדויקת. רק כך ניתן להפיק מהסריקה הדיגיטלית את מלוא הפוטנציאל הטמון בה - ולמנוע את אותן שגיאות קטנות שעלולות להפוך למשמעותיות.
