Goal: A series of online webinars providing expert discussions on various child welfare topics, including the impact of child abuse on boys, serving LGBTQ+ youth, immigration and child welfare, children of incarcerated parents, secondary traumatic stress, and public benefit programs related to child maltreatment prevention and equity. The series aimed to educate professionals across multiple disciplines on best practices, ethical considerations, and policy implications. Target Audience: General professional audience working in child welfare, social services, and related fields

Professional Workshops on Trauma-Informed Care June – December

Goal: A series of workshops aimed at two key professional groups: Early Childhood Educator Workshops and Oklahoma Coalition Against Human Trafficking. The early childhood educator workshops focused on child maltreatment and trauma-informed care for young children who have experienced trauma. The human trafficking workshops provided trauma-informed care training for professionals working with trafficking survivors in social service and medical settings, including learning days with simulations. Target Audience: Early childhood educators and professionals working with trafficking survivors in social services and medical settings
