Academic & Professional Learning on Child Maltreatment and Trauma January – May, September, October

Partners: University of Oklahoma, University of Tulsa, Rogers State University, Tulsa Community College Goal: A comprehensive series of academic and professional learning experiences focused on child maltreatment, trauma-informed practices, adoption competency, and intimate partner violence. This included semester-long courses at the University of Oklahoma and the University of Tulsa for MSW and psychology students, learning days at Rogers State University and Tulsa Community College for nursing and early childhood education students, and a multi-day event at Oklahoma University Child Welfare Professional Enhancement Program centered on adoption and lived experience expertise. Target Audience: MSW students, undergraduate students in psychology and early childhood education, nursing students, social work students, adoptees, adoptive and foster parents, and child welfare professionals
