Peak event of Strong Communities in the neighborhood – together creating safety and welfare
These are the central goals of the program: Creating and strengthening parental leadership.
Creating and strengthening children’s and adolescents’ leadership. Raising awareness of the well-being of the neighborhood children. Closing the gaps in utilizing the services and improving communication and ties between the neighborhood organizations and the residents. This year the initiative began in the Khalisa neighborhood of Haifa as well, with the help and support of the School of Social Work, Haifa University and the Haifa 0XQLFLSDOLW\ŶV (DVWHUQ 6HFWRU $Q DVVHVVPHQW VWXG\ ZDV FDUULHG RXW E\ 5XWK %HUNRZLW] DQG 'U ,ULV /DYL DQG WKH LQLWLDWLYHŶV LPSOHPHQWDWLRQ E\ WKH VRFLDO ZRUNHU 7DO =LVVR ,Q 2017, the needs of the neighborhood will be mapped out, along with raising awareness and creating a media buzz about the initiative.
