The goal of the course for parents of children with disabilities is to decrease and prevent situations of potential abuse, over-protection and neglect from the child’s environment, by raising awareness and giving parents the tools to detect and identify abuse of their children, and to also FDPH WR DQ HQG 7KH SURJUDP ZDV UXQ IRU SDUHQWV RI FKLOGUHQ ZLWK GLVDELOLWLHV LQ +DLID DQG LV RQH RI ƉYH courses that were carried out throughout Israel in collaboration with different agencies. The course was attended by parents from the Haifa area and surrounding towns. 6HVVLRQV ZHUH KHOG HYHU\ WZR ZHHNV $GGLWLRQDOO\ ZRUNVKRSV ZHUH FRQGXFWHG LQ groups, to address and cope with frustrations and anger.
